Essential Requirements to Keep Plant Healthy

 

Sunlight         

-At least 3-6 hours of preferably morning sunlight a day is ideal for plant to grow well and natural direct bright light for the rest of the day.

 

Watering      

-Water it when the dirt in the topsoil (1-2 inches) feels dry to the touch. Do not overwater or let the plant sit in water. Water it thoroughly during the summer months and reduce watering during winter and rainy season.

 

Soil     

-The soil should be well drained and fertile, rich in organic content for growing plant.

 

Fertilizer       

-Fertilize your Aglaonema plant with a standard houseplant fertilizer during the rainy and at the beginning of spring seasons.

 

Plant Care

-Aglaonemas are made to spread through seeds, root cuttings or stem cuttings. And while there are ways to have your aglaonema last as long as possible like planting it in the ideal conditions or using the right soil mix, sometimes you just don't have time for all of that and in cases like those it's best to start by taking off some of its leaves and cutting them into small pieces so they can regrow just like little sprouts.
